Dear Mama, I get it. Our society would like to convince you that birthing your baby is a stressful, scary, and a painful experience. Our job is to let you write your own birth story, where you feel supported, empowered, and confident in your body's ability to birth. It is our goal for you to feel fully safe and knowledgeable while you do so.

I would say hiring a doula is like hiring a friend to be on call where a friend and family may miss it , having an on call lady friend to get medical advice and is so well educated and so worth it . Having all my appointments post birth was definitely not “planned” but is lovely to have. I would have preferred pre baby appointments but births never go exactly as planned but was exactly what I wanted even with no birth plan!
